Vaccinations to prevent infectious disease are offered at Access Omnicare for your employees. Blood tests to determine if there is immunity to a specific disease, sometimes referred to as antibody titers, are also available at Access Omnicare.
These services are commonly offered to:
- employees who are traveling internationally on behalf of their employer
- employees who might handle potentially infectious materials including health care professionals, ERT team members and biotech workers
Seasonal influenza (flu) vaccines are also available to preclude a flu outbreak at the worksite which can severely impact health and productivity.
Tdap is a combined vaccine for Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertusis (whooping cough) and most often used to treat a wound or as a preventive measure for employees at high risk of sustaining a dirty or complex wound (e.g., construction).
