Insurance Network

Many employers have expressed confusion or difficulty in confirming whether we are included in their Medical Provider Networks (MPN). Regrettably, it often takes several months for insurance websites to update their list of approved MPN providers. In addition, insurance companies may elect to move from one MPN to another MPN; often to an MPN with a similar name, which adds to the confusion. Finally, a single MPN can have 200 or more insurance companies under their “umbrella” and these insurers will at various times and for various reasons change MPN’s.

So, if you do not find Access Omnicare or one of our medical providers on your insurance website, do not be dismayed. We participate in most MPN’s. Simply call us at 510.585.2549, and we will provide you with documentation from the MPN confirming our participation. Alternatively, complete the Contact form and she will respond to any query or discrepancy. In the unlikely event we are not “in network,” based on the reputation of our medical providers we are often able to have our facility expeditiously added to an MPN.  If there is an urgent need for medical treatment we will work with your claims administrator/adjuster to approve treatment at Access Omnicare.
